The Gorgas Rail Complex is comprised of seven historic buildings located in the northeast corner of the Presidio.

Two spaces within three buildings are available for lease. Total offered space comprises approximately 14,736 square feet.

The buildings feature open interiors with high exposed beam ceilings and ample natural light from windows and skylights. The complex’s historical character provides a unique adaptive-reuse commercial space opportunity.

The majority of the warehouses were built in 1919 along a rail line that was used to transport goods and supplies to Letterman Hospital when the Presidio was a U.S. Army post. The train tracks have been removed but the rail line history remains evident in the unique character of the buildings.

The Gorgas Rail Complex is conveniently located along the new Presidio Parkway with easy access to the Golden Gate Bridge, the beautiful open spaces at Crissy Field, park trails, and the Chestnut Street retail corridor. The free Presidio GO Shuttle offers daily service to regional transit connections in downtown San Francisco. Muni and other public transit stops are within walking distance.
