ALERT – PRESIDIO TRANSIT CENTER MOVES TO NEW LOCATION ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 4!
The Presidio Transit Center will soon close for renovation as part of the
Presidio Tunnel Tops project.
A temporary Transit Center will open on
Monday, November 4 right across the street from the current location. It will be in use until the Tunnel Tops open in fall 2021. PresidiGo Shuttle and MUNI schedules remain unchanged.
About the Presidio Transit Center
The Presidio Transit Center is the park’s transportation hub. It’s located in the heart of the Presidio on the Main Post next to the
Presidio Visitor Center. The following services are available.
Free PresidiGo Shuttle
The Presidio's free transit service, the
PresidiGo Shuttle, begins and ends its routes at the Transit Center. There are three routes.
PresidiGo Downtown offers service between the Transbay Terminal, Embarcadero BART, and Union Street/Van Ness Avenue and the Presidio. The
Around the Park routes –
Presidio Hills and
Crissy Field – serve more than 40 destinations within the Presidio. Shuttles run daily.

SF MUNI 43 bus makes frequent stops at the Presidio Transit Center on its route that extends from Fort Mason to the Marina District and through the center of the city.
TRANSIT café features casual dining, food on the go, and everyday basics for visitors and commuters. It’s open weekdays from 7:30 am to 6 pm (kitchen closes at 3 pm, but grab and go items are available until closing) and Saturdays from 8 am to 5 pm.
The last day of service at TRANSIT cafe will be Saturday, November 2.
