Presidio Coronavirus Updates
(updated June 14, 2021)
The Presidio remains open to all for exercise, including park's trails, open spaces, and playgrounds. Be sure to follow safety requirements to protect everyone's well-being. If you have questions, contact us at presidio@presidiotrust.gov and check the websites of Presidio
visitor-serving businesses for information about their operations.
PresidiGo Shuttle is Operating
The PresidiGo Shuttle is operating for essential transportation, including travel to and from work, shopping for supplies, accessing health care, and providing aid to family and friends who need assistance.
We're following industry-standard protocols for the protection of our passengers and drivers; while face masks are no longer required while waiting at bus stops, face masks are required on shuttles. For more information see:
Requirement for Face Masks on Public Transportation Conveyances and at Transportation Hubs | CDC.
While the shuttle is operating on a reduced schedule, we'll add service as ridership increases. Note, however, that the Around the Park Crissy Field Route has been permanently discontinued. Send any questions to transportation@presidiotrust.gov.

Presidio Slow Streets

In order to create more space for everyone to walk, run, and bike safely in the park, we’re hosting
Presidio Slow Streets, a companion to the City’s effort.
Through the
Presidio Trust's Emergency Order, select streets in the park will be closed so visitors can recreate while maintaining the required safe physical distance of six feet.
Presidio Slow Streets include two types of road closures:
-
Road Closure Recreation Zone (Red) – Vehicles are not permitted.
-
Slow Street Zone (Yellow) – Vehicle access is limited to residents, tenants, deliveries, and emergency vehicles.
