From 2009 to 2015,
Reimagining Service brought together a cross sector
coalition for a time-bound campaign to increase social
impact through effective volunteer engagement. In that time,
the initiative brought new research and practices to the
field that have changed the way organizations engage
volunteers. This case study examines Reimagining Service’s
distinctive characteristics, as both a cross sector
collaboration and a time-limited effort, while focusing on
how these contributed to its success.
