What to Expect at this Event
Join us at Presidio Tunnel Tops for a family-friendly Día de los Muertos & Diwali event in the park. Celebrated annually in the fall season, these two distinct cultural observances come together in a national park to honor South Asian and Latinx traditions. Designed intentionally as a celebration and a learning opportunity, attendees are invited to participate in a wide range of activities that include arts and crafts, storytelling, cultural dance, song, and a fire ceremony, and learn about social and environmental justice issues in both cultures.

There are paid parking areas at the south end near the Presidio Visitor Center and the Presidio Transit Center. At the north end near Crissy Field, there is a large parking lot near Sports Basement in easy walking distance to the Outpost nature playground. Accessible parking is available.
