The traditional book club is reimagined as an inclusive public program that anyone can take part in, whether or not they’ve read the book. Enjoy contextualizing remarks by Presidio Trust historian, Dr. Barbara Berglund Sokolov, and then participate in or just listen to the facilitated discussion of both the book and the general topic that follows. 

All titles are available for purchase at the Presidio Visitor Center.

On the 65th anniversary of the end of the Korean War, expand your understanding of the successes, failures, and legacies of the Cold War between the United States and the U.S.S.R that spurred conflicts in Korea and Vietnam and dominated world affairs during the half century following World War II. 


This event is free but due to space constraints registration is required.
