Inspiration – Eggs
$125 per person, wine pairing $40 per person

The Top Chef season 15 reunion continues at The Commissary in April’s Open Kitchen installment, which will celebrate the egg, that arbiter of new life and springtime. Guests Bruce Kalman, currently executive chef of Union Restaurant in Pasadena, CA, and Tyler Anderson, chef/owner of Millwright's Restaurant in Simsbury, CT, will join their fellow cheftestant, Commissary Executive Chef Rogelio Garcia. Nominated as a James Beard “Rising Star Chef,” Bruce previously headed The Misfit in Santa Monica and The Churchill in West Hollywood. Tyler has been nominated four times for Best Chef - Northeast James Beard Award and recently opened TheCook&TheBear barbecue joint in West Hartford, CT.

What kind of eggs? The shell’s the limit — quail, chicken, duck, emu, even roe could make an appearance. But probably not bear. We look forward to seeing you on March 5!
