Long before there was the city of San Francisco, there was the Presidio of San Francisco. First established in 1776, the Presidio Officers' Club stands as a testament to California's beginnings.
Today, the park’s most historic building features permanent and temporary exhibits tracing the Presidio’s history from 10,000 years ago to the present. Experience multi-media displays, including films, images, artifacts, and a first-person film that gives deeper meaning to the Presidio’s legacy and its new national park chapter.
Exhibits are free and open to all every Saturday from 11 am to 4 pm, with support from knowledgeable volunteers. No tickets are required.
