As part of EXCLUSION at the Presidio Officers' Club – an exhibition that examines the Presidio’s role in the unjust incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II – journalists, academics, community advocates, and park leaders recently came together to discuss how the lessons learned from that time can help us deal with the present-day issues of immigration and racism. See roundtable participants’ reactions in this short video.
You, too, can visit the EXCLUSION exhibition and share your thoughts on the ongoing relevance of these historical events. Your voice matters! The exhibition is open Tuesdays to Sundays. Check the website for more details.
