1. Enjoy the World’s Largest Drawing Festival at The Walt Disney Family Museum

Big Draw Play at The Walt Disney Family Museum

On ​Saturday, October 13, 2018​, from 11 am to 4 pm, come out for the world’s largest drawing festival – the Big Draw at The Walt Disney Family Museum! All ages will enjoy drawing sessions, themed gallery tours, “bubble painting,” and chalk art. Celebrate Walt’s love of play and discover the artist inside your little ones – and you!

2. Dig Deep at International Archaeology Day

International Archaeology Day in the Presidio

On Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 10 am to 2 pm, the whole family can learn about the layered history of the Presidio at the annual International Archaeology Day! Activities include: exploring the Presidio Officers’ Club (San Francisco’s most historic building), talking with archaeologists working at a live dig site, and making adobe bricks. Don’t miss the guided tours of the El Presidio archaeology site and the Presidio Archaeology Lab at 11 am and 1 pm.

3. Movie Night in the Park: Featuring The Lorax

The Lorax

Next up in the free family movie night series in the park is The Lorax, on Friday, November 2, 2018​. The fun starts with food trucks, bubbles, and face painting at 5:30 pm, and continues with cartoon shorts at 6:30 pm and the film at 7 pm. Bring a blanket or cushion and make yourself comfortable!
