The final school bell will ring before you know it, so it's time to start thinking about how you'll fill that gaping hole in your kid's schedule from June to September. To help you out, we've rounded up a list of Presidio summer camps that'll keep your kid's body and mind engaged. Choose to explore a new interest every week or stick with one passion all summer long ​ we've got options!

Lone Mountain Children's Center

About:  

Preschool-age children are offered a weekly theme-based camp.

For 3 to 5 year-old preschool-age children. To be eligible, a child must turn 3 by March 2018, have had some prior preschool experience, and not be in diapers or pull-ups.

Presidio Y Camp

About: ​ 

With over 50 camps to choose from, the Presidio Y has a camp for every camper!  They provide a range of traditional, specialty, and sport camps. Their exclusive YBike camps are a great way to build bike skills and confidence through their Bike experts, and their YMakers program offers a unique opportunity for creative thinkers and doer's to use tools to create endless projects.

About

Pack a lunch, bring your baseball gear, and do a bit of everything – including, hitting, pitching, stealing bases, and taking ground balls in the cage. Batter’s Box also takes the game outside with a run to the beach, where fly balls are thrown and diving is encouraged. HitTrax games complete the best ball camp in town.

House of Air – “House of Summer Camp”

About

Youth “flyers” at House of Summer Camp receive exclusive access to House of Air’s Matrix and Dodgeball Colosseum before House of Air’s opening, providing an opportunity for flyers to take part in trampoline games. Youth flyers also get the chance to spend time with the House of Air Training Ground pros and learn all the flips and tricks from the experts. Youth flyers will also receive flight socks and lunch.

In this playful and creative inquiry-based outdoor camp, campers learn to develop their observational and collaborative skills. Urban Backpackers:

About

This challenging new camp provides your adventure-seeking camper with an exciting wilderness backpacking experience to strengthen their connection to the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Campers learn and practice Leave No Trace principles while they spend two nights backpacking: the first night at Rob Hill Campground, and then hiking over the Golden Gate Bridge to spend the second night at Kirby Cove Campground. Urban Backpackers are provided with tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and all meals during their journey.

In this program, children explore the Presidio’s and the Golden Gate Park’s beautiful surroundings while hiking, playing, building, and learning.
