So you're a regular in the Presidio, which means at this point you've tried it all. Or at least you think you have. We're here to tell you, you might've missed a few very special menu items that are flying under-the-radar. To help mix things up on your next visit to the park, and make sure you're "in the know," we're giving you some insiders' intel on some secret "off-menu" items to be found at hot spots in the Presidio. But shhhhh – don't tell them we told you!
The Monster Burger at Sessions at the Presidio
What's in it?
Eight ounces of certified angus beef is just the beginning for Session's Chef Michael, who really knows how to pull off a dream burger. His Monster Burger ($23) brings together all your favorite meals in one sandwich - it's part breakfast, part deli lunch, and part ultimate dinner! This mammoth sandwich is a combination of a burger patty topped with in-house smoked pastrami, a perfectly fried egg, holy cow cheese, and house-made bread and butter pickles, all served on a house-made Dutch crunch bun. And he doesn't stop there – it's plated up with a mountain-high side of crispy, freshly-made hop-salt fries with aioli for dipping.
Why order it?
Seriously, need you ask? Sessions regular burger is considered by many to be one of the best burgers in the City, but if you're asking us, there's no time like the present to bite into a burger-meets-Ruben-meets-egg-sandwich – a burger at an entirely new level.
Best paired with?
This is beer country in the Presidio, so of course all burgers at Sessions are best consumed with a pint of beer. A craft brew, say one of Sessions' hoppy IPAs, will do the Monster Burger right.
How/when to order?
These big guys are available all day, every day. Just ask your server for the "Monster Burger" and they'll steer you right.

Why order it?
Sometimes you want something a little different from the typical bowling alley mainstays, like curly fries and grilled cheese with bacon. Armando, one of the Presidio Bowling Center's talented cooks, is known for these tacos.
Best paired with?
One of the Bowling Center's 61 ice-cold, bottled beers.
How/when to order?
Made special-order for league players, these tacos are a hot commodity. Typically available on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings when Chef Armando is in the kitchen.
