Help the Presidio Trust Trail Crew maintain and enhance park trails and pathways. Stewardship helps maintain a world-class trail system for the community to enjoy today and in the years to come.
Second Tuesdays, 10 am to 1 pm
Meet at 10 am at the Inspiration Point Overlook. Volunteers will be transported by van to project sites.
Tuesday, November 10: Mountain Lake Trail
This month we will help rebuild a part of the Mountain Lake Trail that has been significantly damaged exposing many tree roots. Our Roads and Trails crew has covered all the roots with sand and brought the trail back to grade. We will follow up the work by spreading wood chips to create a better walking surface. We will also use shale to build a drainage feature to cover tripping hazards and encourage proper drainage.
