Help Presidio Trust gardeners maintain and enhance the Presidio’s historic gardens and landscaped areas. Activities include planting, weeding, spreading wood chips in landscaped beds, removing overgrown vegetation from historic garden features such as rock walls and pathways, and general site cleanup.
Third Fridays, 9 am to Noon
Meet at 9 am at the Inspiration Point Overlook. Volunteers will be transported by van to project sites.
Friday, October 16: Building 1750
The native flora around Building 1750 represents one of the first examples of landscaping with the native palate in the Presidio. Work with us and wonder what the older trees in the area may have witnessed, and help us steward the next generation of plants adorning this precious landscape: prune some shrubs, pull some weeds, do good deeds, and beautify your park!
