April Volunteer Highlights
This month we are excited to welcome a new team of AmeriCorps NCCC volunteers to the Presidio. The team of 10 young adults will live and work in the Presidio until May 26 supporting park stewardship efforts. If you volunteer with us in the coming weeks and have a chance to meet them, please help welcome them to the park.

Care for the Campground
Tuesday, April 1, 10 am to 1 pm
On April Fool's Day in San Francisco there's sure to be dozens of pranks being pulled -- don't get fooled! Instead meet us at the Inspiration Point Overlook and be transported to the most magical spot in the Presidio, the Rob Hill Campground. Our beautification efforts are being appreciated by hundreds of campers every week, and on the 1st we'll be planting natives, removing invasive weeds, mulching and deadheading. Rain or shine. Ages 10 and up.

Grow the Presidio Forest
Friday, April 4, 9 am to noon
Friday, April 11, 9 am to noon
It's April and time to pull Acacia suckers and weeds around the base of our beautiful young Redwoods growing along Washington Avenue. It's our first visit to this site in 2014, so please come help us as we perform general site-wide cleanup and continue our efforts to steward these magnificent trees. Meet at the Inspiration Point Overlook. Rain or shine. All ages welcome.
