Care for the Campground
Tuesday, August 5: Rob Hill Campground
This month we'll be pulling overgrown Kikuyu grass from a native plant bed directly next to the main entrance of the campground. Caring for this bed is a great way to greet the young campers as they start their adventure into Rob Hill. We will also be pruning overgrown Ceanothus that is growing into some of the camping pods. These acts of service will improve the experience of our visiting youth camping in the Presidio.

Grow the Presidio Forest
Friday, August 1st: Kobbe Reforestation Site
Friday, August 8th: Kobbe Reforestation Site
Pruning season kicks off at the Kobbe Reforestation site where volunteers will have the chance to learn best pruning practices from certified Trust arborists Chris Starkweather and Ben Lamb. Lots of weeds to pull too! Radish and thistle will be targeted as we take this majestic site to the next level with help from the Forest Stewards!
