Golden Gate Club

Built in 1949, the Golden Gate Club was once the enlisted men’s service club and the site of several historic treaty signings. Today it is a popular celebration and meeting venue on the Main Post, the cultural heart of the park.

 

The site features views of San Francisco Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, and the Presidio forest. The graceful Spanish Colonial Revival-building offers a spectacular setting for weddings, private parties, meetings, and conferences.

 

The Golden Gate Club is available for reception rentals every day, year round, except for national holidays including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year's Day. Reservations are taken up to two years in advance.

Hours
The reception rental period includes up to ten hours, between the hours of 8 am and midnight, inclusive of setup and cleanup.
 
The meeting rental period includes up to nine hours, between the hours of 7 am to 6 pm on Mondays through Fridays and 8 am to 6 pm on Saturdays and Sundays, inclusive of set-up and cleanup.

 
Catering
Caterers must be approved within 90 days of your event date or Presidio Foods Catering must be selected. Alcohol must be served by companies with full service liquor liability insurance coverage
 
Events
All food and beverage must be provided by a full service catering company carrying the specified commercial general liability insurance.

Meetings
All food and beverage must be provided by a drop-off/pick-up catering service carrying the specified commercial general liability insurance. Alcohol is not permitted unless a reception fee is paid.
