The free PresidiGo Downtown Shuttle is available to anyone who lives or works in the park or obtains a MUNI Passport. It makes commute-period trips to and from the Presidio and downtown San Francisco. PresidiGo Downtown connects to the PresidiGo Around the Park Shuttle to reach neighborhoods within the Presidio.
How Does PresidiGo Downtown Work?
Presidio Employees: If you commute to a Presidio workplace from outside the park, you can catch the PresidiGo shuttle for a free ride from the Transbay Terminal, the Embarcadero BART station, or the intersection of Union Street and Van Ness Avenue. The shuttle provides direct drop-off to several sites within the park (see PresidiGo Downtown map and schedule).
Presidio Residents: If you live in the Presidio, you can take the PresidiGo Shuttle to travel downtown. Catch the shuttle at a stop near your neighborhood (see the Around the Park map and schedule to learn when the shuttle visits your neighborhood). Or you can catch the Downtown Shuttle at one of the Presidio stops indicated on the Downtown map and schedule (see Inset A on the map).
Visitors: The public can use the PresidiGo Downtown Shuttle during non-commute hours or by obtaining a MUNI Passport. For more information, view the PresidiGo Downtown map and schedule.
*Due to construction near the Transbay Terminal, the shared bus stop with MUNI is closed. Look for the PresidiGo Shuttle under the Fremont Street overpass (between Mission and Howard).
**Please note that PresidiGo Downtown does NOT operate on federal holidays.
