When two or more people choose to ride together from a common point of origin to a common destination, they’re carpooling.

Vanpools are a variation on carpools that involve groups of 7 to 15 people who commute from similar locations. Vanpools come to the Presidio from Napa, Vallejo, San Leandro/Hayward, and Santa Rosa.

Carpools and Vanpools offer flexibility and save time and money by using carpool lanes, sharing gas and parking fees, reducing insurance costs, and avoiding bridge tolls.
