Since its miraculous makeover from asphalt wasteland to thriving coastal parkland, the Presidio's Crissy Field has become San Francisco's favorite spot to show off its active side. Here, you'll find that remnants of the airfield's former life have been artfully transformed into indoor recreation spaces. Fittingly, one historic biplane hangar is now home to House of Air, a trampoline park inviting us all to take flight for an hour or two.
House of Air's 8,000 square feet of conjoined trampolines are thoughtfully divided to suit different ages, interests, and activities – everything from joyful jumping to competitive dodgeball. Kids aged 3 to 6 have their own court staffed at all times by "air-traffic controllers" who engage children in safe play.
High flyers – ages 7 and up – hoping to catch YouTube-worthy air can book sessions in the Training Ground and access its competition-grade trampolines and safety harnesses. GoPro cameras are available for rent or purchase so visitors can capture that first 360-degree spin for all posterity. Gymnasts, skiers, and boarders use the Training Ground classes and one-on-one sessions with professionals to add to their bag of aerial tricks.
Trampoline sessions can be booked by the hour, and you'll be required to sign a one-time waiver. Note that weekend slots tend to fill up a few days in advance, so book early for those coveted times. They also offer kid camps and adult classes.
House of Snacks
Whether you're breaking a sweat or just watching others have all the fun, the "House of Snacks" cafe is there to power you with hot and cold sandwiches, healthy snacks, and beverages from San Francisco's Bicycle Coffee Company. You can also get those refreshments to go and enjoy them outside at
Crissy Marsh – no waiver required.
Book an Event
This trampoline park is a no-fuss option for birthday parties and other group events, with packages that include jump sessions, reserved tables or rooms, and optional catering and gift bags. The best part – they'll handle the post-party clean-up.
House of Air is located between
Planet Granite and
La Petite Baleen. Paid parking is available in this area, but is challenging on weekends. The
PresidiGo Shuttle stops nearby.
