Inn at the Presidio offers an authentic historic experience in a setting of natural beauty.
The hotel is located on the Main Post at Pershing Hall, once an elegant home for bachelor officers. In 2012, the Presidio Trust revived the historic structure in an effort that was certified LEED Gold for green building design.
The interior celebrates the Presidio’s past with artisan details and memorabilia, complemented by comfortable, contemporary furnishings. Historic photographs and contemporary regional art bring to life the park's military history and its amazing Golden Gate setting.
The Accommodations
The Inn's main building features 22 spacious accommodations, including 17 suites with fireplaces. The nearby Funston House includes four bedroom suites which can be rented individually or as a whole-buildng package. Space for celebrations and meetings is available inside the Inn and at several venues in easy walking distance.
An inviting front porch with rocking chairs, a dining room for breakfast and evening receptions, and an outdoor deck with a fire pit welcome guests. Reservations include a complimentary continental breakfast buffet and wine and cheese reception. Overnight self-parking is available for a fee of $6 per night.
The Inn is an ideal starting point to experience the Presidio, including miles of hiking trails, Presidio Golf Course, visitor events, cultural destinations, and wild open spaces. It is also a lovely place for family and friends to stay while hosting a wedding or celebration in one of the park’s event venues.
Inn at the Presidio also provides convenient access to regional destinations such as Union Square, the Golden Gate Bridge, the Ferry Building, the Marin Headlands, and the Sonoma/Napa wine country.
