The Kobbe Terrace neighborhood is located on a serpentine road that runs through a eucalyptus forest just east of Fort Winfield Scott. The neighborhood consists of five single-family homes, 14 duplex units, and eight units in two 4-plex buildings. All were constructed between 1902 and 1915 in both the Mission Revival and Colonial Revival styles as officers' family housing.
