Officers' Club Restaurant RFP
Restaurant, Cafe, Bar to Complement Visitor Services in this Major Public Destination
Soldiers standing in formation in front of the Officers' Club
Property Description

The Presidio Trust is seeking a restaurant/food service provider to be located within the Presidio’s
oldest and most beloved structure, the historic Officers’ Club. We invite a partner that will provide a
quality dining experience reflective of the character and values of the Presidio and that complements planned activities in this key public facility.

In the U.S. Army days, the Officers’ Club was the social heart of the post, where dances, weddings, and other gatherings delighted servicemen and community members throughout the 20th century. Today, the Officers’ Club is undergoing an historic rehabilitation and is being re-imagined as a welcoming public destination where diverse programs are delivered. Central to the experience will be a Heritage Program featuring exhibits revealing the Presidio’s rich past and the story of today’s vibrant park.

The restaurant/café/bar will be located on the first floor in the Arguello Room and the Portola
Courtyard, adjacent to the Moraga Room. The Moraga Room will be a comfortable gathering area
for individuals and groups to gather during their visit. It will also host performances, lectures, and
community events.
