PRESIDIO INSTITUTE PROGRAMMATIC OFFICE SPACE OPPORTUNITY

Avenue, 2nd and 3rd floor office space in the Presidio of San Francisco. This century-old
barracks once housed the U.S. Army Coast Artillery Corps and is now home to
the Presidio Institute. The building features a
distinctive, historic Mission Revival architectural style with contemporary
design elements and modern conveniences.
The Presidio Institute’s
Partners in Residence program is comprised of organizations and professionals
whose on-site presence will contribute to and help define its unique tenant
community. The Institute is seeking nonprofit, B-corporation or other socially
diverted and leadership development tenants for its recently rehabilitated
Building 1202. Tenants would join Presidio Institute’s Partners in Residence
The 2nd floor is almost fully
leased. Suite 204 is still available and comprises approximately 1,362 rentable square feet.
Suite 300 comprises
approximately 4,206 rentable square feet on the 3rd floor and features a
beautiful lobby, kitchenette, and dormer windows with bridge views. The layout
is an open floor plan that invites creative collaboration and brainstorming.
Located in the Presidio’s Fort
Scott district, 1202 Ralston Avenue is a dynamic mixture of office, event, and
collaborative space. The building includes an elevator, indoor bicycle storage,
and rentable meeting rooms to accommodate events of up to 180 people. Tenants
enjoy easy access to the Golden Gate Bridge and Marin County, and access to the
free PresidiGo Shuttle which
connects to MUNI and Golden Gate Transit lines.
About the Presidio Institute and Partners in Residence
Beyond traditional tenants,
they are co-creators in the programmatic design and development of our future.
Partners in Residence will be active participants within a diverse,
multi-sector community of organizations focused on leadership development for the
common good. For more information, visit the Presidio
Tenant pays for parking, insurance, telecom and data, and a pro rata share of building's operating expenses after first year of occupancy. Basic office utilities and Service District Charge (SDC) are included in monthly base rent. SDC is a reimbursement to the Trust for a portion of municipal services such as police, fire, and emergency services, and road and other infrastructure maintenance.
$1.50/RSF per year (up to $10/RSF) for each year of the initial term to procuring broker, payable half 30 days after lease execution and half 30 days after occupancy. Procuring cause will include, but not be limited to the following:
1. Broker must accompany the clients on the initial visit to the Presidio;
2. Broker must provide written confirmation of an agreement between broker and tenant;
3. Broker must have a continuing involvement in the transaction.
Tenant Selection Criteria
will be selected with respect to the following criteria:
Alignment of mission and programs with the Presidio Institute mission
Contribution to the community and diversity of the Presidio Institute’s Partners in Residence program
willingness to convene programmatically-related meetings, events, and other
relevant activity on-site in the Presidio Institute’s event spaces
Desire to embrace the Presidio Institute’s intended culture of collaboration, innovation, excellence, accountability, and impact measurement
Consistency with the planning principles and preferred uses articulated in the Presidio Trust Management Plan
