The Presidio Trust is now seeking proposals for short-term office use at 1188 Mason Street, part of a group of seven World War I-era waterfront warehouses on Lundeen and Mason streets in the Presidio. 1188 Mason Street is offered “As-Is”with tenant to fund any improvements. This basic suite comprises 12,500 rentable square feet and is ideal for use as swing space or for short-term requirements. Available data/telecom is T-1 only (long distance WiFi range extenders are required and not included). Low traffic users are preferred. Space is available now with a 60-day termination right.
The Mason Street warehouses are directly opposite East Beach, Crissy Field Center, the Beach Hut Cafe, Crissy Marsh and the Marina Green with easy access to Lombard Street and the Golden Gate Bridge.
The area is served by Muni bus lines and the PresidiGo Shuttle. Metered parking is very limited.
Doyle Drive reconstruction is underway in this area of the Presidio. Upon its completion, the Main Post will be connected to the Crissy Field northern waterfront via a bluff featuring ten acres of new parkland at the foot of the Main Post. The bluff will feature public places to gather with views of the bridge, the bay, and the Presidio’s forested ridges. Please view for additional information.
Please note: this address is 1188 Mason Street in the Presidio (94129) and not the Mason Street that originates near San Francisco’s Union Square (94108).
In addition to base rent and parking, tenant is responsible for all operating expenses including utilities, insurance, maintenance and the Service District Charge (SDC). SDC is a reimbursement to the Trust for a portion of municipal services such as police, fire, emergency services, road and other infrastructure maintenance. Current SDC is estimated at $4.78 per rentable square foot, per year, subject to annual adjustment.
