Tennessee Hollow Trail

Length: 1.2 miles (1.9 kilometers) - trail construction now in progress
Use Type: pedestrian only
Difficulty: easy to moderate
The planned Tennessee Hollow Trail will run north-south through the park’s largest watershed (and the trail’s namesake). While this journey can be made today along roads and sidewalks, the trail experience will be provided once the creek is restored and the new trail is built. Exciting restoration work is underway throughout the watershed, and the Tennessee Hollow Trail will be a fantastic way to discover the natural, historic, and recreational gems in this corner of the Presidio. A small section of existing trail meanders past the restored Thompson Reach area in the lower Tennessee Hollow Watershed. View a short video of the restoration effort Thompson Reach.
