What to Expect at This Event 

Gather around Presidio Tunnel Tops’ Campfire Circle – located near the Presidio Visitor Center – daily at 4 p.m. to enjoy a free talk by National Park Service rangers.  

Park rangers will present histories of the diverse people who’ve passed through and impacted the Presidio – indigenous history, military stories including the Buffalo Soldiers’ connection to the Presidio, the story of the part the Presidio played in Japanese American internment during WWII, and more. Learn about the park with views of the Golden Gate Bridge as your backdrop.
