Inspiration - The Chef's Garden
$95 per person; $125 with wine pairing
This month's Open Kitchen menu at The Commissary will highlight the seasonal bounty of The Chef's Garden with special guest Farmer Lee Jones. Guests Mark Zimmerman, executive chef of Alexander's Steakhouse, and Michael Rotondo, chef de cuisine of Parallel 37 at The Ritz Carlton San Francisco, will join The Commissary's Executive Chef Rogelio Garcia in creating this special four-course menu.
The Chef's Garden is a Huron, Ohio-based farm and home of the Culinary Vegetable Institute, that has been practicing sustainable farming for nearly 30 years. A leading grower of artisanal produce, the chefs will be celebrating early fall crops like root vegetables, carrots, beets, celery root, and salsify.
