The interconnect box is where all of the east residential housing telephone cables come together.  This project will protect this box (and the service they support) from accidental damage by automobiles.  Two bollards (4' still barrier posts filled with concrete) will be placed adjacent to front corners of the interconnect box, just outside the length of the door openings.
