This project is a site investigation to determine the nature and extent of potential contamination in the vicinity of the Commissary and PX area.  This area was historically used as the Presidio Consolidated Motor Pool, and the investigation will assess the impact of the storage, use or release of petroleum and potentially hazardous substances in the area.  The results of the investigation will be published in a site investigation report, and the information will be used to evalute alternatives for cleanup in a Corrective Action Plan.
