Every third Sunday of the month, children and their families join in on the Presidio Park Stewards
(PPS) habitat restoration program. Families take part in a multitude of restoration and educational activities, followed by a delicious snack during which families can get to know other volunteers and staff. This program allows families to not only spend time outside together, but to also give back to the community. By taking part in habitat restoration from an early age, kids gain a life-long dedication to nature stewardship.
The family-friendly portion of the Sunday PPS program is aimed at families with young children, generally ages 2-8. But children of all ages are always welcome.
