What Now?—The Uncertain Future of National Parks

The national park idea as practiced in the United States is now more than a century old.  Are the ideas underlying early twentieth century assumptions still valid? What can national parks realistically hope to achieve in a time of climate change and biological collapse?  Join William C. Tweed, former Chief Park Naturalist and park historian at Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks, as he discusses these questions and more.

Following the lecture, Tweed will be available to sign his book, Uncertain Path: A Search for the Future of National Parks.
