Join us for an ethnobotany program where we will get up close and personal with plants in the Tennessee Hollow Watershed! In this fun, hands on activity, we will use our sense of smell, sight, and taste to determine how people utilized plants such as Eucalyptus, Ceanothus, and Yerba Buena in the Presidio.
No RSVP necessary. Meet at the 43 MUNI bus stop at the corner of Lincoln and Presidio Boulevard (http://goo.gl/maps/j9J7) at 11 am.
Nestled within the Presidio's largest watershed, El Polín Spring has long been an important place for nature and people. Join us for a month long celebration of this recently restored natural treasure, featuring more than a dozen events like this one and much more, including guided walks and talks, bird watching, fun for kids, archaeology tours, and a volunteer day.
