Shakespeare in the Park
Bring your family, friends, a blanket and a picnic to enjoy FREE professional theater in a beautiful park setting!

Welcome to Renaissance-era Padua, Italy, where two very unconventional people meet, fight, and finally fall in love – but not before a feast of wit and outrageous physical comedy. The Taming of the Shrew features plenty of your favorite Shakespearean twists, hilarious clowns and ridiculous disguises, along with a subversive and challenging love story. Who is the bigger Shrew? You decide!

The Presidio Trust invites you to a family-friendly performance of The Taming of the Shrew presented by the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Shakespeare on Tour is performed by a cast of professional actors in costume, with set, props, and recorded music. Stop by the show 30 minutes early and watch The Taming School, a great introduction to the play for all ages!

Admission is free.
