On Thursday, October 10, at 10:30 am, the Presidio Trust will welcome OpenCo participants for a discussion about how an innovative approach to government saved the Presidio. Trust Executive Director Craig Middleton will host a reception and conversation about how the Trust stewarded a vibrant business and residential community at the Presidio, working with partners, tenants, and many others to create a new kind of national park. After the talk, participants are invited to join an optional walking tour to learn how the Main Post will be revitalized as a major visitor gateway in the next five years.
The Trust is one of hundreds of organizations participating in OpenCo and San Francisco’s innovation month. Companies throughout the City are sharing their story and vision with the OpenCo community of technologists, marketers, job seekers, neighbors, investors, and potential partners. OpenCo is a mashup of an open art studio and a business conference, with the vibe of a music festival. Presidio tenants, Net Power & Light, Strategyn, and Lens Ventures are also hosting a presentations during the two-day conference.
All sessions are free and open the public, however space is limited.
